In order for Knowledge Tree Child Development Center to provide free and nutritious meals to our students, parents are required to complete new food applications. It is imperative that all parents complete new food applications to ensure our center's continued participation in the CACFP program. Please see Ms. Nickole to complete a new food application.

CLASSROOM NEWS

INFANTS
MS. JACKIE & MS. KAREEMA
Welcome to the Infant Room! We have welcomed Samyah Henry to our classroom. Just a few quick reminders: Please read page 8 in your Parent Handbook for your baby's daily requirements. Please remember to read your child's daily report upon arrival and to complete the top portion of the daily report (Parent Section). We strongly urge all parents to refrain from allowing your infants to wear the following items: any jewelry (including hoop earrings, bracelets, rings, necklaces, etc)
barrettes and rubber bands. All of these items pose a safety risk to our children. Please feel free to call or drop-in at anytime. Also, please read, sing and talk with your baby daily. This will help to develop their vocabulary.

YOUNG TODDLERS
MS. ANNIE, MS. ERICA,& MS. EVETTE
Hello! We have welcomed Merick Felton and Zahmir Richardson to our classroom. In the Young Toddler Classroom, we always communicate with the children. We teach them to love and respect each other's feelings. Our children use their fine and gross motor skills by dancing and exercising. They love to scribble. Also, our children love to listen to short stories and have free-play. They are free to explore their classroom. They are true explorers.
OLDER TODDLERS
MS. AISHIA, MS. KAREEMA, & MS. LATOYA
The Older Toddlers have welcomed Lamar Evans and Jahmir Morris to our classroom. In the Older Toddler Classroom, we are working on learning and identifying our shapes, colors, and numbers, through songs during circle time, reading various books during story time and other daily activities. We are also helping our children learn how to share, play together and communicate with one another through parallel play and fine & gross motor activities. This will help to enhance their social and emotional development -- all through play.
